| Founded in 1824 by Brongniart, the Museum has an outstanding collection of pottery, faience and porcelain classified by origin and historical period. Additional sight : Maison des Jardies 14, avenue Gambetta This modest gardener's lodge was once housed Honoré de Balzac and Corot. Gambetta died here on 31 December 1882. Several of the politician's mementos have been kept there and are on view to the public. At the crossroads , near the villa a memorial to Gambetta by Bartoldi |
