Giverny:

It was here that Claude Monet lived for 43 years until his death in 1926 at the age of 86 years, adorning his house with a water lily garden.
The enchanting pond with its lilies and Japanese bridges became a special feature of the garden.
Monet's house has a warm family feeling. The rooms have been restored to Monet's original designs. Reproductions of his own work as well as some of the Japanese prints Monet avidly collected are displayed around the house.
